For generations the Vanelli family has owned two marble quarries in the Carrara area of Paonazzo, Bardiglio and Statuario. Fiammetta Vanelli is the female heir of this extraordinary heritage, the feminine declination of a long family tradition.

The history of Vanelli family’s marble begins in 1818, when Duchess Maria Beatrice d’Este authorized the extraction of the white marble of Carrara. Since the 19th century, the Vanelli family quarry has supplied marble for the construction of public works in the most important European capitals.

In 1936, Aldo Vanelli, Fiammetta’s grandfather, purchased the quarry nr. 67, called Zona Mossa, which today gives its name to the jewelry collection. In 2011, the family also acquired another quarry: nr. 66 Poggio Silvestre.

Since 1818, the means of marble production have changed. Nowadays, robotics and the latest technologies allow endless cutting solutions. Today, it is possible to create complex works and special projects in less time and, above all, in a practical and safe way.

The company is characterized not only by the supply of slabs and blocks of these precious materials but it is also specialized in marble processing and in the creation of design objects and home furniture.

Items for kitchens and bathrooms, home decor, jewelry – all created with an eye towards the future, but with his feet firmly planted on the land of his family: Carrara. Marble is created beyond its classical destination. The feminine sensibility is the cornerstone of all her production – precious marble declined in everyday objects for home, restaurant or special occasions: each piece wants you to enjoy the moment.

We often work for third parties, including artists, designers, architectural firms and luxury hotels, collaborating through tailored marble executions with major companies such as Vitra, Saint Laurent and Moncler. We work in the Horeca sector thanks to our dedicated collections and we are also present on the main e-commerce platforms 1stdibs, Pamono and Artemest.

FiammettaV has been entirely created by the craftsmanship and the culture of the Apuan Mountains. Artisanal masterpieces created from the finest stone. Thanks to international signatures, marble enters everyday life, with a line dedicated to those who love the expression of the artist. The idea is to use high quality Carrara and foreign marbles on a small scale to create new forms. The marbles from the family quarries then become exclusive pieces of furniture and design. Although we make use of five-axis robots and 3D modeling, our craftsmanship and hand manufacturing are essential to any of our totally made in Italy production. Therefore, we have the ability to create any custom project based on specific technical drawings.
